If you’re one of the lucky few to own an iPhone or an iPod Touch, I’d be willing to bet money that you’re obsessed, just like me. I’ve found many, many uses for my iPod Touch far beyond it’s musical capabilities. One that has been a sanity saver is the wide variety of apps you can download for your children. March 17 is fast approaching! Here are some great St. Patrick’s Day crafts for you and your little ones to enjoy. Just recently, I won this amazing Gyst Messenger Bag from Tuff Phit. My family and I love to hike and experience the great outdoors, so I’m excited to take this with us on treks this Spring and Summer.

I was also inspired to do a roundup of some of the best free (or almost free!) fitness tools online. You don’t have to spend a lot to get in shape, and the links below can help support your current plan, or get you started on a new one. If you have OnDemand, there are lots of great free fitness videos for you to follow. I’ve just recently started doing them, and I love that there are lots to choose from, and you can pick a new one every day to keep it fresh.

I love my church. I love that my family loves my church. On Sunday nights, our preschooler sits with us in the service, and has given me a recent interest in all the cute quiet books out there. I honestly should have started on it when I was pregnant, but was blissfully unaware of certain challenges that arise when one is trying to keep a preschooler quietly entertained. Maybe this post will inspire me (and YOU!) to whip up something one week. Enjoy!

Cardboard Box Play Office

I don’t know about you, but this time of year sure keeps our UPS man busy! Which means – tons of boxes to boot! We got one huge one the other day, and I just couldn’t resist cutting it up and making something for the kids. I used to do this in the “old days” with my sister. Back then, we’d make cars and post offices, but since it’s almost 2011, I decided to do dual iMacs with phones and lots of buttons to push! Am I a geek or what??

Here are some of the things I did with my box, but be as creative as possible! I covered the computer screen and phone with duct tape, and ended up drawing the computer screen on with markers. (Printer’s out of ink at the moment …) I also cut out two slits to set the phone in, and cut the corners of one side of the box so they could walk in the office.

My First Etsy Shop – Two Lil Beans!

Today was a big day! I’ve been slaving over the sewing machine for a week or so now, and have finally opened up my very first Etsy shop! I’ve found that I LOVE making coffee sleeves/cozies, and have opened a shop full of them! I am still testing the waters, so I only have 6 combinations of fabrics available at this point, but hope to expand this by leaps and bounds in the future.

All my coffee sleeves have ruffles on them, are lined, and close with Velcro. And they just feel so great when sipping your favorite cup of coffee house brew. I’d HIGHLY suggest the Pumpkin Spice Latte with a squirt of White Chocolate from Starbucks – tastes just like pumpkin pie!
